Wigan made a lively start and took the lead within three minutes. Blackpool defender Craig Cathcart slipped as Charles N'Zogbia fed the ball through to Hugo Rodallega, who coolly slotted it through Gilks' legs and into the net for his eighth goal of the season.
N'Zogbia doubled Wigan's advantage in the final minute of the first half, collecting the ball after Charlie Adam had been dispossessed, breaking into the box and finishing past Matt Gilks.
On 67 minutes Mohamed Diame received the ball from Rodallega, turned and hit a shot that deflected off Neil Eardley to deceive Gilks.
DJ Campbell scored a consolation for the home side seven minutes from time but it was not enough to prevent the Seasiders from dropping into the bottom three. source premier
